Heritage Grand is an age-restricted (55+) neighborhood within Cinco Ranch, a new all-ages master-planned community in Katy, Texas, a suburb of Houston and an area with several new, upscale developments.   Cinco Ranch currently has nearly 6,800 families and is one of the fastest growing communities in the Houston area.  Heritage Grand is growing just as fast and has a good selection of homes and prices.

Homes in Heritage Grand are either patio homes with a community-maintained front lawn or town homes.     Square footage ranges from 1,569 sq. ft. to 2,996 sq. ft., and the builders are Village Builders and K. Hovnanian.  Homes are one story, have attached garages and two to three bedrooms.   Because Cinco Ranch is so large, there are several homeowner associations, and Heritage Grand has its own HOA.  Monthly fees cover exterior maintenance, landscaping and property insurance.  Visit http://www.heritagegrandinformation.com for more information.

Cinco Ranch has ten neighborhoods and a wide array of amenities, but Heritage Grand also has its own amenities so residents may swim, work out and enjoy a putting green without distractions from younger residents (not that there is anything wrong with younger residents).  The community has its own pool and spa, fitness center, computer center, putting green, shuffle board court and lengthy walking trails, all of which are included in the HOA fee.

Heritage Grand residents may also enjoy Cinco Ranch's other amenities, including a water park, a large recreation center, several lakes with boating, greenbelts, wetlands, a nature preserve, tennis courts, a beach club and the Cinco Ranch Golf Club, an 18-hole, par-71 daily fee course, characterized by fifty sand traps and nine water hazards.  George Bush Park, a 7,800-acre haven, borders Cinco Ranch, providing further opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Houston is the fourth largest city in the U.S. and offers everything one would expect, from touring Broadway plays to professional sports to world-class museums and fine dining.

This area is also known for its high quality health care, and close by are Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, a full-service community hospital with specialties in emergency services, orthopedic surgery and oncology, and Memorial City Hospital, which has services such as comprehensive heart care, cancer services and a 24-hour emergency center.  Christus St. Catherine Hospital, also not far, is designed to address the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of its patients.

The average winter high temp in this area is 65 degrees, but summer temperatures reach the mid-90s.  The average relative humidity is 80%, and four to five inches of precipitation per month are normal.
